#ad Both wine and football can be complicated. However, Barefoot Wine believes you don’t need to be an expert to be a fan of either. Because, let’s face it, both wine & football should be easy to enjoy.

That’s why we’re creating the Barefoot Bandwagon Box, a suite at the Philadelphia vs. Kansas City Super Bowl LVII rematch in Kansas City on 11/20 where you can ask any questions about football, or wine, without judgment.

Mama Kelce will be on hand to answer questions about what’s happening on the field, while Barefoot’s winemaker, Jen Wall, explains what’s happening in their glass.

Tell us why you want to join the #BarefootBandwagonBox following the rules below:

    HOW TO ENTER:

    1. Comment on this post
    2. Start your comment with #BarefootBandwagonContestEntry
    3. Answer the following questions using at least 375 words:

    – Question 1: Why do you want to join the Barefoot Bandwagon Box?

    – Question 4: What about football and wine are you most looking forward to learning about and why?Edited · 3w

My name is Dr. Howard Tucker. I am 101-years-old and the Guinness World Records’ Oldest Practicing Doctor. I would welcome the opportunity to join the Barefoot Bandwagon Box and witness the Eagles take on the Chiefs.

Just like Mrs. Kelce, I raised my children in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and I even attended the same high school as Travis and Jason, albeit I graduated in 1940. To give some additional perspective, when I became a fan of football back in the 1930s, our Cleveland team was known as the Cleveland Rams. There is no doubt that the game of football has changed dramatically over the course of my lifetime. I must admit that I have not kept up-to-date with all the latest rules of the game and could use a refresher. Also, as a practicing neurologist, I am interested in learning more about the NFL’s concussion protocols and how the evolution of player helmets is lowering the incidence of brain injury. Learning more about how football has changed over my lifetime while enjoying Barefoot wine with Donna Kelce and Jen Wall would be the perfect pairing – no pun intended.

Lastly, people often ask what my keys to longevity are. I believe enjoying everything in moderation, including wine, is the key to a long and happy life. Barefoot claims their wines are perfectly aged. As an aged man who collects wines myself, I would love to learn more about their aging process from Ms. Wall.

If selected, I would like to bring my family. Like Donna, my children and grandchildren are my everything. Any opportunity where I get to spend more time with them brings me immense joy. Almost all of them grew up in the Cleveland Heights area so I am sure a delightful conversation about football, Cleveland, and wine would be had.

I am also looking forward to seeing my hometown heroes – the Kelce brothers – play against each other once again. For my 100th birthday, I was gifted a Super Bowl ticket but unfortunately could not make the game due to a heart procedure. I would love to finally witness these two great teams in action.

Now at 101, I would be delighted to get the 101 about football and wine from Mrs. Kelce and Ms. Wall.64 likesReply

  • jamiejocI would love to watch these two teams battle again! This is an experience in a lifetime, we would never be in a suite at a game. We really don’t even pretend to afford just one regular season game. This would be the coolest thing ever for my family! Would also love to meet you, the mama, to these awesome boys!3 likesReply

  • gottaketchamallll#BarefootBandwagonContestEntryI want to join the Barefoot Bandwagon box to bring national attention to all caregivers out there regarding early treatment of plagiocephaly with orthotic helmets for infants. We work on a daily basis with infants 0-2 with flat head syndrome. Early education including tummy time and repositioning are key in prevention. Knowledge is power! Untreated plagiocephaly and brachycephaly can lead children to have higher medical and functional risks as they grow, such as difficulty with fitting properly in sporting helmets (such as football!) Thus, decreasing the safety factors of these devices. In addition to being a Chiefs fan, I have not yet had to opportunity to attend a live game at arrowhead so far. I cannot think of a more memorable first game encounter than to spend time with Momma Kelce and cheers to hopefully a chiefs win with a glass of barefoot in my hand surrounded by my outstanding co-workers!!
    2. I want my fellow co-workers to come so I can celebrate my dedicated clinicians! These ladies go above and beyond to provide the best top-quality care in our line of work and treat all our little ones as their own! They are mothers at home as well and still work hard each day, helping families work towards their goals with results that last a lifetime.
    3. I want my fellow team members and I to have an enjoyable evening together cheering on our beloved Chiefs with mother of the year, Momma Kelce, as we prepare for our busiest time of the year in our little corner of the healthcare field. Our line of work is time sensitive, therefore we don’t have extra time off around the holidays, so this would be a way to celebrate our team and show my appreciation for them during this time.
    4. I am most excited to become more of an expert with different types of wine in addition to learning the art behind the profession! I would love to gain more insight on knowing how to pair wine with specific foods and seasons. I would also like to learn how the NFL works to provide more custom fitting helmets to their players to ensure that every individual is kept safe while on the field. For birth all the way to the NFL, safety is not one size fits all.63 likesReply

    1. I would love to join the Barefoot Bandwagon Box because you know what’s better than football and wine?…it’s CHIEFS football and BAREFOOT wine! And getting to enjoy both with Mama Kelce..I mean c’mom! What a dream it would be to be in Arrowhead, my favorite place, getting to hang out with Donna Kelce and 3 of my favorite people. I would cherish the experience always and forever. I have been a life long chiefs fan and will continue to be no matter what. During season, my events and activities are always scheduled around Chiefs games. As a loyal fan of Chiefs Kingdom, I will never miss watching our Chiefs! It is one of my absolute favorite things to do, this contest experience would mean so much to me! Also, as a wine lover I have always loved the Barefoot. When I first discovered my love for wine, it was because I tried Barefoot. It will always be the reason I started drinking wine! I am not surprised why so many people love Donna Kelce. She seems like a kind, down to earth, amazing woman who raised two amazing men. It would be an honor to meet her!Reply

  • itsmrsmalone#BarefootBandwagonContestEntry 1. I would LOVE to join the barefoot bandwagon box to not only learn more about my favorite wine (the only wine I drink) and chat it up with Mama Kelce about all things football and being a football mom. As a mom of two myself, I would love nothing more than to join her as she cheers on her two talented sons as they play football for the best two teams in the league. I know she will be rooting for the offense, no matter what team has the ball. I will be wearing my Eagles jersey; I hope that is okay! Since I lost my own mom to breast cancer in 2021, It would be super special to hang out with a wonderful mama again.
    2. I would bring my favorite three girls with me, my daughter Alexys, My sister Taylor and our bestie Vanessa. All three of these ladies support my love of the Eagles, but we are in desperate need of a football tutorial so we know when to cheer, and when to jeer..while cheers-ing their wine with Mama Kelce. They are also the most fun people I know and they enjoy Barefoot wine, especially the Moscato. A lot. A LOT! We all listen to the New Heights Podcast and know those boys get their sense of humor from their mama! Aright Nah!
3.I would benefit from this amazing experience by being able to hold my own when we have those Monday morning conversations at work and I can finally show my dad I do know a thing or two about the game. Not only that, but nobody could ever judge me for drinking Barefoot wine whatever time of the day I want to, since I would be forever indebted to them for winning this incredible trip!
4.I look forward to learning more about the notes and the process of making the wine from Jen, and also how to best pair wine with food and can someone please tell what “legs” are? As for football, I want to learn it ALL from Mama Kelce, but I am most looking forward to learning about who is all on the offense and the defense, their play calls, what is a Blue 22, can the brotherly shove EVER be stopped and why do I always giggle when someone says, “tight end”?
    Cheers!!!1 likeReply

  • jamiejudd#barefootbandwagoncontestentry – I would like to join the Barefoot Bandwagon because I sit and watch Thursday night, Sunday and Monday Night football with my seven year old son each week. Every commercial break, we are throwing the football to one another. He could pass all day! Sipping wine and watching football would be quite a break for me 😂. I’d be bringing my son Fitz, (hang on it’s a commercial break of the Steelers game, I’ve gotta pass real quick!) ok I’m back! So my son Fitz is the biggest Eagles fan. Well, football fan in general. But he is die hard Eagles. He loves that Jalen Hurts went to OU (Boomer!). This would actually be the biggest dream of a lifetime for him. I’m a single mom so being able to ever even take him to an NFL game is so far out of my reach. Much less the Eagles v Chiefs! The other two people would probably be my friend Mia and her son William. Just two boys and their mamas, like you! I would benefit from being in the box because I love making memories. As a mom, it’s all I want. To give my kids the best memories all through their childhood. What better memory than this?! Box seats with my son and his little bestie? Watching his favorite team?! I can’t imagine anything better for him. I’m looking forward to learning more about children’s sports. I’d love to pick mama Kelsey’s brain about how she navigates sports as her boys were growing up. Where we live, all the parents think their kid is the all star, recreation sports have become competitive to where some boys aren’t even getting to learn the game because they don’t get a chance to even play. I’d love to talk to her about this and get her feedback on it. I love football so much, always have. Please pick me & my son Fitz! You won’t regret it. We are both a lot of fun!!!2 likesReply

  • stebbinsjennifer#BarefootBandwagonContestEntry Hi, I would love to join the Barefoot Wagon Box because I have been a fan of the Chiefs for years, I have been a fan of momma/Donna Kelce since January, and a fan of the Eagles since January 2023. Barefoot wine has been my go to wine for at least 3 years. I would definitely bring my husband because he is a lifelong fan of football plus he is a fan of the Chiefs and Eagles. I 2ould bring my guy cousin who lives in KC and is the reason I love the team! If minors are allowed then I would bring my mature 11 yr old because she loves football, especially the Chiefs! If she can’t go then I would bring my 25 yr old because she is just getting into wines. I would benefit from this opportunity because I haven’t been to a NFL game in 20 years. Plus my cousin has been trying for years to go visit him there! Also my spouse and I have never been to a NFL game together. He drinks wine too! There a few things I would look forward to learning when it comes to both football and wine. One is that even though I have been drinking wine for about 15yrs, I do not know much about it. I don’t know what exactly people mean when they say it’s dry and I don’t know how to identify “notes” of pear, etc. I would like to learn more about football from someone who isn’t intensely watching the game, so they have time to better explain. Sorry hubs!! I only know the basics. I would love to talk to Mrs. Donna regarding how she juggled her kids busy schedules! I only have one young child but she is involved in so much so tips from her would be greatly appreciated! I am so excited about this contest! Thank you for doing this for all of us!!Reply

1: Why do you want to join the Barefoot Bandwagon Box?
Once upon a time I asked my best friend if she thought I’d have a shot at winning Mama Kelce’s contest and joining the Barefoot Bandwagon Box. She replied, “Well, I’ve never had Barefoot Wine before, but it’s never too late to hop on a bandwagon!” I’m your average lady who would love to expand my knowledge of wine and NFL football. Doing so in a setting at a live game with football and wine experts would be otherworldly. I may be normal, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t pick me. 😂 Remember, everyone loves an underdog story.
2: Who would you bring with you to the Barefoot Bandwagon Box?
Joining me on this journey would of course be my best friend. She’s the football queen! I usually ask her my questions, and I’m sure she’d love to have Donna Kelce there as back up. My husband would come as well, because together we are the three musketeers and always have a blast. Lastly, I’d truly be getting the band back together by bringing another one of my gal pals that’s interested in sports. We watched the Eagles and Chiefs play last year, and the four of us in the Barefoot Bandwagon Box this year would be fantasy come true.
Question 3: How would you benefit from joining the Barefoot Bandwagon Box?
For me, it would be extraordinary to be in Barefoot Bandwagon Box. Getting to go to a game I could never afford and having access to Donna and Jen’s knowledge about wine and football would be legendary. My friends and I are very hardworking and our story could benefit from an extraordinary moment and a break from the mundane.
4: What about football and wine are you most looking forward to learning about and why?
Wine and football are both so complex, and it can feel daunting navigating both and having questions. I’m looking most forward to asking about things happening on the field, rules, and the strategies I may not understand. When it comes to wine, I’d love to ask Jen Wall about the grapes they use, why each wine has different notes and flavors, and what makes a Pinot Grigio a Pinot Grigio! Football and wine may have a complex plot, but together they always make a story better.3 likesReply

    1) Why do I want to join the Bandwagon Box? Because it combines my two favorites – wine and football. Nothing is better than that AND to be in KC would be a dream on a nice, fall day. We love the weather this time of year! 😊

    2) Who would you bring with you to the Barefoot Bandwagon Box? My husband, he’s from KC, and my father in law who lives in KC. Both have helped tremendously with our baby this year and deserve to see the Chiefs play and drink wine with one of the greatest👏. Also, my FIL, doesn’t know much about wine so he will have fun learning with us! 😂❤️

    3) How would you benefit from joining the Barefoot Bandwagon Box? Oh gosh, lots of ways! We can experience a once in a lifetime treat – celebrating 🤞🏼a win with Momma Kelce and drinking wine — WOW. Also, we aren’t able to make it out to KC for thanksgiving like we do every year and it would be a BONUS treat to be there so our family can FINALLY meet our baby.

    4) What about football and wine are you most looking forward to learning about and why? Learning from a Donna’s perspective on not only the game, but the game of motherhood! Hi, I’m new here as a mom 👋. And when it comes to wine, how to keep my wine in my glass when cheering on the Chiefs! Also, expanding my horizons, I only drink Cabernet. 🍷 ❤️1 likeReply

    1) As a stay at home mom I deal with a lot of Whine on a daily basis, however it’s not exactly the wine that would bring a good time. I want to join the Barefoot Bandwagon Box to get some much needed fun. I can’t imagine how amazing it would be to hang with Mama Kelce with a Barefoot wine in hand and getting to watch a matchup of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. How iconic would that be! I would also have a solid excuse to officially buy two New Jerseys because how would you go to this game without combining Jerseys. It’s pretty much a fashion must at this point.
    2) Ironically a couple weeks ago I came up with the perfect plan to attend this game and presented it to my husband along with flights and everything. The only hitch in my plan was my husband hates football so he shot the plan down faster than the brotherly shove can get the eagles to a first down. So if I won I would want to bring my football loving mom friends with me to enjoy Barefoot wine, football and time away from our kids.
    3) again, and I cannot reiterate, is enough, but I would benefit by getting barefoot wine, the exact game I’ve been itching to watch, a vacation, and a good time!!! I’ve also never been to Missouri so I can add that to my bucket list of his new places. Have an opportunity to visit Kansas City and getting to join a barefoot bandwagon box would be mind blowing.
    4) Also, could there seriously be a better way to learn all their Isabell football with her mama Kelsey herself. I think the hardest part of the equation would be to pick a team since they are both my top teams this year. As far as learning about wine goes, I volunteer and learning, which one is my favorite and the barefoot bandwagon box, combines both football and wine into one place. Alright now!!! I’m not sure how many wines Barefoot wine has but I’d love to learn and also to get to know the most popular, the best for gatherings, and everyone’s favorites. In fact I might have too many questions… there’s a good chance I don’t get out enough 😂89 likesReply

  • watthekell#barefootbandwagoncontestentry 1.My 3 best friends and I moved to Chicago after graduating college. Our guy friends at the time were in a fantasy football league that we were not invited to join so the 4 of us started our own league. You read that correctly-our league is us 4 girls.  We call the league the ‘The Hot Fudge Football League’. We included the ‘Fudge’ part to keep us humble. We are from Kansas City & St. Louis.  The Kansas City native grew up a huge Chiefs fan. The St. Louis girls grew up Rams fans and moved to the other Missouri team as Chiefs fans when the Rams left St. Louis. We talk about taking a fantasy draft trip (okay we just want to take a vacation together)but our schedules never allow it.  The stars have aligned & all of us can be at Arrowhead on 11/20! The tagline ‘Hot Fudge Football Girls in the Barefoot Bandwagon Box’ has a nice ring to it don’t you think? 2.I will bring my Hot Fudge Football Girls of course!Amelia, Marisa, Kirsten, and Kelly (me) 3. In our 20s living together in Chicago we got to see each other all the time. Fast forward and most of us are married and our lives have changed. We are no longer all living in the same city, but the Hot Fudge Football League keeps us together.  The more time I get to spend with these girls the better!  Joining the Barefoot Box for the game would be a memory we will cherish forever. We also hope to make a podcast that does commentary during football games. We need a female voice in the booth and think adding a female perspective will improve the experience for girls watching. The opportunity to be in the Barefoot Box with Donna will give us insight into the workings behind the scenes and help inspire the direction we take the podcast. 4.Football & wine both have such a rich history.I agree with your statement that you don’t have to be an expert to be a fan of wine and football.  But the more you know about a topic, the greater your experience.  All four of us are business women and we are looking forward to meeting the Barefoot team and learning about the history of how the Barefoot company started and the core competencies leading to its great success.
